The Affable Professor

This entry-level course focuses on honing one’s ability to interpret, negotiate, and make meaning from information presented in the form of images. Through a series of exercises on design synthesis, Gestalt theory, color interaction, rhythm and balance, organizational systems, typography, and communication hierarchy, students are able to heighten their sense of visual literacy. Studies were culminated into a booklet which described student reflections on learning outcomes.
